Your best solution to date?
I am pleased with the outcome of the double-skin acoustic façade at the Jessop West academic building for the University of Sheffield.
Why is it significant?
It shows how a multidisciplinary team can work with great architects such as Sauerbruch Hutton & RMJM to achieve effective natural ventilation only a few metres from the road. The client's desire for a low-carbon building meant he took an informed risk and he is delighted with the new building.
