The largest financial centre in continental Europe, and home to the European Central Bank, Frankfurt is the financial and transportation centre of Germany.
Arup projects in and around the city include the award-winning Citi Data Centre, which sets a new precedent for sustainable design in what is an energy-hungry data centre industry, the Commerzbank Tower which is still the highest building in Frankfurt and the only all steel structure in the city and the Messehalle 3 which achieves via its distinguished waved roof an enormous column free hall length of over 300m.
Arup is also responsible for all MEP disciplines associated with the current extension of the Frankfurt airport which as an international hub has a higher proportion of transfer traffic than any other airport in Europe.
