Seattle

Arup has a history of working on projects that have shaped — and continue to shape — the landscape of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

In 2003 Arup opened an office in downtown Seattle, with the aim of better serving our clients from both the public and private sectors.

Since that time, the office has grown from a team of four to a group of 40 engineers, consultants, and support staff working on projects including the LEED Platinum Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation headquarters, the energy-efficient redesign of the Joseph Vance Building, the sustainably designed Wilkes Elementary School, the light rail alignment concept East Link B7-revised analysisSt. Elizabeth Hospital which was the first LEED certified hospital in Washington state, and the engineering of the award-winning, LEED Silver rated Seattle Central Library.
