Arup shines at Tien Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize

Arup triumphed at this year’s Tien Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize, the highest award of its kind in China, with its work on the Bird’s Nest, Water CubeBeijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 and the Fencing Hall/ National Convention Center.

Co-organised by the China Civil Engineering Society and the Tien Yow Jeme Civil Engineering Fund, this award is the most prestigious engineering award in China to recognise technical innovations across building and construction, tunnel, highway, port, water conservancy and residential sectors. It is rare in the history of the award that one company has swept four trophies in one go.

This is the fourth year for Arup to win the premier award, following Route 3 in 1999, Hong Kong International Airport in 2000 and Two International Finance Centre in 2006.
