Arup is pleased to announce the appointment of John Haese as Adelaide office leader, now responsible for growing the firm in South Australia.
Having worked on a broad range of public and private sector projects John brings 15 years of project management experience to the role. Since joining Arup in 2004 John has successfully managed multidisciplinary design teams, including leading the development of Innova21 – a new $100m Engineering, Mathematical and Computer Sciences building at the University of Adelaide.
Robert Care, Arup Australasia Chairman and CEO says: “There is a strong will between the public and private sector to design, build and deliver infrastructure projects that will support the long term growth of South Australia and at Arup we see a great opportunity to be a part of this growth.”
“John’s leadership and analytical skills mean he is well placed to manage the diverse range of talents we have within Arup, and to drive our Adelaide office forward,” he adds.
Commenting on his new role, John says: “I am excited to be leading Arup in South Australia. Our team is working on a diverse range of projects across the state, with a healthy pipeline of future opportunities that we hope to get involved in.”
“Our ability to provide tailored solutions which draw on our wealth of multidisciplinary talent, rather than just ‘off the shelf’ ideas, makes Arup’s offering in South Australia unique” John continues. “Our focus goes beyond turnover, to high quality, challenging and rewarding opportunities where we can deliver real value and leverage our people’s skills.”
