Backing winners at 2010 World Architecture Festival

Arup congratulates the architects of the following projects – winners in the World Architecture Festival awards in Barcelona on 5 November.

  • David Chipperfield Architects and b720 Arquitectos – City of Justice, Barcelona, Spain (Civic and Community category).
  • Cox Rayner Architects and Architects 61 – The Helix Bridge, Singapore (Transport category).
  • BVN Architecture - Brain and Mind Research Institute, The University of Sydney, Australia (Health category).
  • WOHA – School of the Arts, Singapore (Learning category).

The World Architecture Festival was held in Barcelona, Spain, from 3-5 November 2010. See the complete list of award winners.

Working in partnership with the architects, Arup delivered services ranging from lighting design, pedestrian movement advice, structural design, Building Information Modelling and advanced dynamic analysis to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and vertical transportation engineering, acoustics and theatre planning for these landmark projects.
