Arup has been appointed to assist Raytheon UK in upgrading the air control radar systems in Romania.
Arup will be monitoring the preparatory work being undertaken by the contractor over the next year. We will also report on quality and site progress on the radar sites at Otopeni (Bucharest), Constanta Airport and Arad.
The aviation and airport planning teams at Arup have been involved in aviation development for over 50 years. In that time its teams have worked on more than 100 airports across the world.
Recent work includes air traffic control towers at Berlin and Frankfurt airports.
