Art installation at Toronto's Nuit Blanche

27 Sep 2011

On 1 October, London-based artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard will present a monumental new installation in Commerce Court, a public square in Toronto’s financial district.

Arup provided acoustics, audiovisual, and lighting design for the project, our fifth collaboration with Forsyth and Pollard. Previous joint efforts have included Silent Sound (Live) (2006/2010), Silent Sound (Gallery) (2006), Radio Mania: An Abandoned Work (2009) and The Death of Bunny Munro (2009).

The piece was commissioned for Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s overnight celebration of contemporary art. The festival takes over the streets from sunset (6:59 pm on Saturday) to sunrise.
