Manufacturing Excellence Awards

24 Nov 2011

For the fifth year in a row, Arup sponsors the Manufacturing Excellence Awards – now known as the Manufacturing Excellence Business Improvement (MX) Programme.

The ceremony, held last night at the Dorchester Hotel, recognises the achievements of UK manufacturers.

“In a highly competitive global environment, it’s essential that excellence pervades everything this industry produces. Those with the ability to produce first-class products using sustainable processes need to be seen as role models. They deserve our admiration and encouragement.”

- John Miles, Director, Arup

The most successful and longest established manufacturing awards programme in the UK, MX works with manufacturing businesses to improve their processes. It provides benchmarking against industry-recognised levels of excellence, enabling manufacturers to see how they are performing and where they can improve.

To support the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ programme, Arup advises MX on sustainable manufacturing and sponsors the Arup Sustainable Manufacturing Award won by Agfa Graphics Limited last night.

Arup congratulates all this year’s winners on their achievements in manufacturing excellence:
