The Nescio Bridge and HST-bridge are to be featured on a new series of stamps by PostNL, the Dutch mail service. Arup delivered the structural design on both bridges.

The stamps, which launch on 30 March, are part of a series of 10 stamps designed by Bockting designers. They form part of an initiative by PostNL developed in close collaboration with the Dutch Bridges Foundation. Each post-war bridge was selected based on its design and character.

The Nescio Bridge in Amsterdam was designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects in London, and connects cyclists and pedestrians to IJburg, a relatively new part of the city. The High Speed Train (HST)-bridge, crossing the Hollands Diep, is a part of the track Amsterdam to Paris and was designed in close collaboration with Benthem Crouwel Architects.

The Bridges Foundation aims to enhance knowledge of Dutch bridges and promotes historic and current bridge design.
