Arup named Best Technical Adviser

Arup was announced Best Technical Adviser at the 2013 Partnerships Awards ceremony.

The international awards, organised by the Partnerships Bulletin, are recognised as one of the highest accolades available within the global project finance industry and have been judged by an expert panel of some of the most respected names in PPP (public private partnership).

The award is given to technical advisors working on PPP transactions that have made an outstanding contribution to the forward progress of public private partnerships, and recognises Arup’s capability as a technical advisor within the Energy and Utilities, Social Infrastructure and Transport sectors.

Arup advised on some of the year’s most significant PPPs and the transactions we advised on included:

  • 95 Express Lanes, Midtown Tunnel and Presidio Parkway P3 projects in the USA
  • Bosphorous Eurasia Tunnel PPP in Turkey
  • Poznan Waste PPP in Poland
  • Walney 2 OFTO PPP in the UK
  • Rialto Water Services Concession in the USA
  • Luis Munoz International Airport PPP in Puerto Rico
  • El Dorado International Airport PPP in Colombia
  • Via Parque Rimac Toll Road PPP in Peru
  • South African Solar: 8 of our wave 1 South Africa large-scale wind and PV energy projects reached close, totalling over 70MW of wind and 145MW of PV
