Arup and ITM Power to collaborate on hydrogen energy and fuel systems

Arup and ITM power have announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will see both organisations collaborate on the development of both hydrogen refuelling stations and hydrogen energy systems.

This global agreement will see both organisations seek sites for hydrogen technology developments to further establish the burgeoning Power to Gas sector.

Arup and ITM power will as work closely with organisations in the transport and utilities sectors to meet their lower carbon needs through new hydrogen storage solutions.

The partnership will also look to work with cities, whom are continuing to look into new ways of reducing their carbon footprint and become more effective in their energy supply and demand.

This collaboration will pool Arup’s deep knowledge and experience in schemes involving energy systems and ITM Power's experience in identifying and deploying hydrogen refuelling stations and energy storage systems at sites across the globe.
