Vattanac Capital

Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, Vattanac Capital is a 39-story, grade-A office development that houses Vattanac Bank’s headquarters and four level basements for the bank’s vaults and car parking. Shaped like the mythical dragon symbolising progress, health and prosperity, the development is poised to become Cambodia’s new finance centre and a landmark for the city.

Arup was initially appointed to act as the construction manager of this project, a role which later extended to include various other disciplines including structural, geotechnical, wind, facade, fire, security and IT engineering.

Working on a fast-track construction programme, substructure works started in August 2008.
