Vinalopó Hospital is the fifth hospital under the public-private funding system for the Community of Valencia.

The project has involved Arup engineering services in all matters relating to facilities in areas such as air conditioning, electricity, fire protection and detection, medical gases, pneumatic transport, communications and systems security.

Maintained by Ribera Salud and Asisa, these new facilities provide coverage to 140,000 people in the region. The hospital features 196 single rooms, 12 operating rooms, 57 outpatient clinics, 45 day hospital places and hi-tech equipment.
