Working life in Taiwan

Given Arup’s extended portfolio of projects, both current and past, in Taiwan, we established a formal office in Taipei in 2010. Arup design engineers have helped deliver many significant projects that not only shape urban identity but also infuse economic vitality into the community.

Arup combines arts with science to help realise some highly recognizable buildings such as the Taipei Performing Arts Center and Taichung Opera House.

With in-depth and extensive low carbon expertise, we are also advising local clients to deliver the first green buildings and eco-cities in Taiwan. These include the Taichung Hsingchu Eco-community, a high-end residential and hotel development that targets to achieve an LEED® certification.
