Arup has been appointed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to lead on masterplanning the regeneration and restoration of the borough's largest public space, Parsloes Park.
The 58 hectare space has existed in its current form since the 1930s as a ‘People’s Park’, which itself was overlaid on a 400 year old designed landscape.
This new scheme will form part of a future Heritage Lottery Fund Parks for People bid and will involve bringing the site’s heritage to life and opening up the park to wider audiences.
