Mayurie’s diverse career spans more than 20 years in professional services and management in the private and public sector, including regional and central government experience in Australia and New Zealand.

She is a highly respected infrastructure and urban planning leader with a vision and passion for creating sustainable solutions for our clients and communities.

With a strong operational management background, coupled with her commercial mindset and client-centric approach, Mayurie brings both technical excellence and creativity to the complex challenges of transport, energy, water, social infrastructure and urban planning sectors. 

Mayurie is focused on developing our strong client relationships to deliver enduring, sustainable development outcomes, including transport, water, energy and renewables projects. She is also committed to enhancing our partnerships with Māori communities and businesses to strengthen New Zealand communities and help Arup deliver genuinely transformative projects.

Mayurie holds a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Physics (Hons) and a Master of Science (Nuclear Physics). 

Highly engaged in industry, with extensive experience working with boards, government officials and communities, Mayurie is a Chartered Member and professional Board Member of the NZ Institute of Directors (IOD). She has completed the following with the NZ Institute of Directors: Institute of Directors Health and Safety, Institute of Directors Finance Essentials and Institute of Directors Governance Essentials.
