Medicover, a private healthcare provider operating in central Europe, has opened the first multi-profile private hospital in Poland providing healthcare services that meet world standards. The hospital is located in Warsaw’s suburban district of Wilanów.
During the investment implementation phase Arup was responsible for project management, quality and schedule control, and investment cost management.
The team also prepared concept, construction and tender designs with regard to architecture and structure of the buildings, mechanical ventilation and air conditioning systems, sanitary and electrical systems, roads and land development, as well as detailed designs for architecture and hospital technology.
The floor area of 22,000m² will comprise five comprehensively equipped operating theatres, three intensive care wards, special diagnostics wards and six other wards with over 180 beds.
