Roskilde Fjord Link is a major project consisting of a new fixed link across the Roskilde Fjord in Denmark. It is proposed to relieve severe congestion on an existing bridge built before World War Two in the city of Frederikssund.

The infrastructural project includes 9.5km dual carriageway and a 1.4km tolled high-bridge. The new link will act as a by-pass to the south of Frederikssund.

A growing link

Our Copenhagen office has been steadily growing, and the engineering and architectural team will be led from Copenhagen. The contract starts with the preliminary works which are due to occur prior the construction process. The remit covers the entire design from geotechnics, highways, drainage and bridge design, as well as environmental, maritime and water engineering.

Construction is expected to start in 2016, and to be completed by 2019.
