Located on Nguyen Hue Street and extending to the famous shopping street Dong Khoi, Times Square Vietnam is situated at the most prominent location in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s Central Business District. The new 164m tall building houses a five-star hotel, top quality serviced apartments, office facilities and retail space. The structure has three basement levels and six podium levels, supporting a 33-storey tower.
Arup designers and engineers provided architectural and multidisciplinary engineering services to redesign the building. The team enhanced its value and effectiveness by combining the two buildings originally proposed for the project by the former architect into one L-shaped structure.
The new design also helps to enhance the overall stiffness of the structure and reduce construction costs.
