Arup is providing a multidisciplinary concept engineering design for a new retail/residential centre in the Titan Lakes district of Bucharest - expected to incorporate a 150 000m² shopping mall as well as residential towers of approximately 60 000m².

Arup in Romania

Arup established an office in Bucharest in early 2006, after years of working in Romania. We provide engineering and consultancy services to both the private and public sectors, and on projects ranging from office buildings to highways.

In Romania, our international experience and broad range of expertise allows us to work closely with organisations that support emerging countries and transition economies. Our current focus is on technical assistance for large infrastructure projects of critical importance for Romanian regions.

We also work closely with international corporations and their local offices and operations in Romania. Our added value is in helping to develop projects whilst understanding our clients' global standards and meeting the local requirements.
