In 1998 the Cardiff office moved to a new purpose-built office in the Cardiff Bay redevelopment area, adjacent to the National Assembly for Wales, while in 1997 the Wrexham office moved to a new purpose-built office in Wrexham Technology Park.

Our Wrexham office on Ellice Way By tradition, Arup is best known for its building engineering skills and contributions to notable architecture. We are fortunate in having worked for many excellent clients and collaborated with a number of top architects. Our Cardiff office is increasingly involving itself in national and international projects benefiting from the company's extensive international electronic network.

Arup would like to see technology become a stronger influence on building design and believes engineering should not simply be the servant of architecture, but inform the design process, adding value and performance. We invest substantially in training and education in order to stay ahead and reap the benefits of new technologies and thinking. We intend to play a strong part in an industry that is putting increasing emphasis on partnership and collaboration. We will achieve this not only by applying our skills to produce commercially sustainable solutions, but also by making available Arup's worldwide network, so as to help win investment into Wales.
