How we're governed
We recognise the value of transparency around organisational governance, how businesses are led and managed, and how stakeholder considerations are reflected in decision making, and our Governance reflect that.
At Arup, we are committed to transparency and accountability in how we report our impact as a business. Our ESG Assurance Statement reflects our dedication to reducing our carbon footprint and achieving our sustainability goals.
For the fiscal years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, we engaged LRQA to provide independent assurance of our full GHG emissions inventory, gender split and our membership’s community engagement. This process was conducted in accordance with The Greenhouse Protocol – A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (revised edition, Jan 2015) and ISO 14064 - Part 3 for greenhouse gas emissions and using Arup’s methodologies for human capital data.
Our verified GHG emissions data demonstrates significant progress in reducing our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. These reductions are a testament to our ongoing efforts to implement sustainable practices across our operations.
This assurance is another step on the journey toward decarbonising our operations and ensuring we have a balanced membership that reflects society.
