General FAQs

Q: Who should I address my cover letter to?
A: Please address your cover letter to 'To whom it may concern'.

Q: Can I apply for more than one role?
A: Yes, you will be asked to provide us with your preferences of available roles during the application process.

Q: How do I apply?
A: Applications will be open from February to March 2018 for the 2019 Graduate Program here. This involves an online application and assessment, followed by in-office interviews for successful applicants. You will be advised of your progress at each stage. 

 

Australian Summer Vacation Program FAQs

Q: When does the Vacation Program run?
A: The Vacation Program runs for approximately 12 weeks over the Australian Summer period. Once you receive an offer of employment you will discuss your start and finish dates with your host group. Applications usually open in June/July annually and will be updated each year on our Recruitment Calendar.

Q: Do I need to be a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen to apply for the Australian Summer Vacation Program?
A: As the Vacation Program is a pathway into our graduate program it is intended for students with Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or NZ Citizenship. You will need to provide evidence of your working rights for Australia in the application process. Graduate Development Program FAQ’s

Q: Do I need to be a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen to apply for the Australian Graduate Development Program? A: Yes. You will need to provide evidence of your working rights for Australia in the application process. Further information on Australian visas and citizenship is available at http://www.border.gov.au/

Q: If I complete my studies mid-year, when should I apply for the Australian Graduate Program?
A: Individuals completing their studies mid-year, should apply for the Graduate Program in the following year. For example, if you complete your studies in July 2017, you will need to apply for the 2018 Graduate Program. Note: In these instances, you may be able to commence your employment earlier than the following year depending on business requirements, and still be a member of the 2018 graduate cohort.

Q: If I have been working for more than 12 months in the industry after university, will I be eligible for the Graduate Program? 
A: No, not necessarily. The Graduate Program has been designed for students who have recently graduated from university and do not have relevant industry experience or worked full time in the industry. You would still be eligible for the Graduate Program if you have less than 12 months full time experience in a similar role. Note: You will still be eligible if you have been working part time while studying or completing industrial training. Q: How long is the Graduate Development Program?
A: Two years. 

Q: Am I required to have working rights in Singapore to apply for the Singapore Graduate Development Program?
A: It is intended for students to have Singapore citizenship or Permanent Resident status. However, applicants with relevant university degrees are encouraged to apply. You will need to provide evidence of your working rights for Singapore in the application process. Further information on Singapore visas is available at http://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits.

Q: Do I need to be a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Australian Citizen to apply for the New Zealand Graduate Development Program? 
A: Yes. You will need to provide evidence of your working rights for New Zealand in the application process. Further information on New Zealand visas and citizenship is available at http://www.immigration.govt.nz/

Q: What is involved in the application process?
A: Our application process involves a number of shortlisting/selection activities as well as psychometric testing and face to face interviews. 

Q: What if I am unsure of my eligibility for the Graduate Development or Summer Vacation Programs?
