Arup was established in Italy in 2000 in response to an ever-increasing demand for specialist consultancy and the number of complex projects being developed.

We currently have around 120 members in Milan and our collaborative approach is characterised by teamwork and partnership with our clients and with every member of a project group. This approach fosters integrated solutions with a focus on innovation and excellence to deliver remarkable outcomes. Locally, we offer a range of disciplines including structures, geotechnical, MEP, architecture and urban planning.

The freedom we have combined with the personal responsibility to add to Arup’s legacy, means we explore challenges with curiosity and creativity – using imagination, technology and rigour to deliver remarkable outcomes.

Our diverse professionals from Arup offices around the world work in synergy across a wide range of disciplines with locally recruited staff both on public and private sector ventures.

The Italian office has worked on some iconic building, such as the Bosco Verticale in Milan, and multidisciplinary projects like the Starbucks Roastery in Milan and the Chiesi Headquarters in Parma.

All the staff based at our Milan office speak fluent English and work to European and international standards.
