Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world. Here, you belong to an extraordinary collective, across 140 countries, in which we encourage individuality to thrive.

Our first Malaysia office was established in Kuala Lumpur more than 50 years ago, with a second one in Penang in the 1970s. We were involved in shaping some of the country’s early landmarks beginning with the redevelopment of the General Hospital in Kuala Lumpur and, later the Penang Urban Centre, KOMTAR.

Since then, we have grown in size and broadened our skill offerings playing noteworthy roles in the evolving urban landscapes of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and other states. With a team of over 300 members, our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.
