Working life in the Philippines

Arup has been working in the Philippines since 1986; and in 1990, we established a permanent office in Manila.

Recently, we have focused extensively on infrastructure work in the country as part of the ambitious ‘Build, Build, Build’ programme. Our access to international sources of advice and best practice enable the government to incorporate innovation and expertise in project formulation and implementation, as our business also expands from the well-established buildings and water sectors to transport infrastructure planning, design, delivery and consulting services.
