With more than 35 years’ experience, Alice is leading Arup’s Advisory Services in East Asia, she is a member of Arup’s East Asia Board and an Arup Fellow. 

She is a highly respected management consultant known for her innovative approach to problem-solving and motivating multidisciplinary teams to deliver better solutions. With a passion to combine engineering expertise with commercial and operation know-how, she has managed numerous award-winning projects ranging from strategic airport gateways to mission-critical systems, tech-savvy science and industry facilities, inspiring learning spaces and smart hospitals.

Alice is a strong advocate of women’s empowerment speaking widely on this topic, mentoring other women and supporting flexible, inclusive workplaces. She plays an active role in the HKIE’s Taskforce of Women in Engineering and leads the UN SDG initiative to promote sustainable development.

Alice has also completed numerous missions to underdeveloped countries including Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Banda Aceh, Indonesia where her professional insights have directly helped those less fortunate.
