Andy Sedgwick is a Director in our London office with wide experience of leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams on building projects in the UK, Germany, Japan and the USA.
Early in his career Andy worked with Peter Rice on the Richelieu Wing of the Louvre in Paris, and the Full Moon Theatre. Andy was made an Arup Fellow in 2006 for his expertise in daylighting design for art museums. He leads the Arts & Culture business within Arup globally and acts as a central resource for technical expertise for the sector. He was the founding Director of the Arup University from 2013 to 2016.
Andy’s completed projects include Tate Modern, Kansai Airport, The Leadenhall Building, The Broad in Los Angeles and the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago.
