Erin McConahey
Arup Fellow
Principal
Erin brings to clients her nearly 30 years of experience in project leadership, mechanical engineering, and sustainability consulting to address not only the extended life of a building, but also the lives of all those that interact with it.
Her diverse project experience includes work on museums, performing arts facilities, stadiums, corporate offices, university campuses, laboratories, and government buildings such as embassies, office buildings, courthouses, and border stations.
With degrees in both mechanical and structural engineering, Erin’s lifelong passion for finding integrated design solutions through a collaborative design process has led to the rare distinctions of Fellow within Arup and within the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers in recognition of her expertise.
Building on two decades of success with multidisciplinary design leadership and strategic corporate transformation, she has mobilized hundreds of her colleagues to advance Arup’s global Whole Life Carbon initiative over the last three years.
