Indonesia
We have been shaping Indonesia since the 1970s. Drawing on our local and global expertise, we create liveable cities in Indonesia and connect communities by designing resilient infrastructure and high-performing and seismic-resilient buildings.
We shape projects with clients across a diverse range of markets, including water, cities, energy, transport and property. Our portfolio of works includes some of the country’s early landmarks: Jakarta’s Peak Twin Towers and Menara Jamsostek, Sumatra’s Siak River Bridge and the Shangri-la Hotel in Surabaya.
More recently, our team of designers, engineers, planners and strategic advisors have been supporting the region to be resilient through rapid urbanisation and climate change. Projects include reviewing Semarang’s resilience to climate change risks and providing post-tsunami technical assistance for housing reconstruction in Aceh.
