Simon Hart

Based in Arup’s Birmingham office in the UK, Simon collaborates closely with teams across Arup’s international network. He works closely with Arup’s LS-DYNA software business and provides a link between the development of digital products and their application on engineering projects. 

Simon has worked in the UK, North America, East and Southeast Asia, delivering numerous automotive CAE projects for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and engineering suppliers. Simon led work providing all structural analysis support to the design of the new London Electric Taxi. He played a pivotal role in delivering the analysis that informed the design of the bonded aluminium structure, helping to ensure it achieved performance objectives and successfully met legislative testing requirements prior to launch.
