A member of Arup’s East Asia Board, Theresa Yeung heads the firm’s planning business across the region and is the East Asia Cities, Planning and Design leader.

She also chairs Arup’s community engagement programme in East Asia, bringing the firm’s professional skills to make a real difference in communities. Theresa is a Registered Professional Planner, a Fellow Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Planners, a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong, a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design.

Theresa sits on a number of important statutory bodies and plays a key role in the planning industry, influencing from policy level.

She currently serves as Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners, and is a Member of the Antiquities Advisory Board, a Member of Beat Drugs Fund Association and its Governing Committee, a Member of Appeal Panel (Estate Agents Ordinance), a Non Official Member (Representing HKIP) of Harbourfront Commission, a Member of Planning Sub-committee of Land and Development Advisory Committee, a Member of Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a Member of Supervisory Board of Hong Kong Housing Society, a Member of Special Committee on Planning, Design and Construction of Hong Kong Housing Society, a Member of the Community Aspects Panel of BEAM Society, a Member of Green Building Faculty of Hong Kong Green Building Council, a Director of Professional Green Building Council and an Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.
