Copenhagen Airport is the main international airport serving Copenhagen, Denmark and the Øresund Region. It is the largest airport in the Nordic countries, and one of the oldest international airports in Europe.
The airport serves around 23 million passengers per annum, making it the busiest airport in the Nordic countries. Based on these figures, Arup is working to develop a Master Plan that envisages new facilities, takes into account the development of traffic and meets the new demands to face the coming years.
Copenhagen Airport Long Term Capacity Plan (LTCP) will provide a holistic and flexible development plan which supports the airport's overall business strategy and can respond to a variety of changes in traffic demand.
After defining the airport’s long-term expansion requirements, Arup will identify a range of expansion options to address anticipated capacity shortfalls covering key landside, terminal and airside facilities.
