In this first issue of 1967, David Dowrick begins the year with a look at folded plate roofs, drawing on examples from across the world.
We then move on to look at 13-15 Fenchurch Street - the Kleinwort-Benson Building - where we were commissioned to advise on (i) the feasibility and (ii) the method of construction of the post-stressed concrete umbrella substituting the original high yield steel umbrella at the top of the building.
