In 1965 Arup was offered the opportunity survey one of the buildings that form the Maltings at Snape, to help determine whether it was possible to convert it into a concert hall and also provide opera facilities.
In this special issue of The Arup Journal, Derek Sugden looks at Snape Concert Hall and how we were able to transform one of the buildings into a successful concert hall.
