Our involvement in Saudi Arabia dates back to 1966 when we entered a competition for the United States Steel bridge. Following this, we were subsequently invited to work on the design of a conference centre and hotel in Riyadh.
In this issue, we present a number of articles looking at our work in in Saudia Arabia - looking at both projects in Mecca and Riyadh.
Other articles in this issue include Hyde Park Cavalry Barracks in London and an alternative approach to calculation of soil movements in deep excavations.
