The Berry Lane Viaduct will carry the London North Orbital Trunk Road (M25) over a deep valley in Chorleywood.
Whilst the overall design for the road is being managed by the Department of the Environment, Arup was invited to design this viaduct, with the need to protect and respect the local environment paramount in our considerations. Jorgen Nissen describes our work on this project, presenting information about the nature of the challenge and how we resolved it.
