Shabani has the largest reserves of asbestos fibre in Southern Africa. The monthly milling capacity of the mill was designed to be 200,000 tonnes of ore.
The client carried out the design of the plant and the mechanical equipment while Arup handled the civil, structural and electrical aspects with the programming and cost control managed.
