In most parts of the world, warehousing tends to be developed horizontally. In Hong Kong, and to a lesser extent Singapore, where the cost of land is a dominant factor, warehousing is built vertically.
Our first article in this issue summarises a successful competition submission for a mixed development for industrial, warehouse and commercial use involving a floor area of some 180,000m2.
