Speculative office buildings in Britain are usually horrors. One Finsbury Avenue is very different. Though a huge 300,000ft2 development, it nestles into its location in the City of London.
The first article of this Arup Journal issue looks at 1 Finsbury Park where we worked with architect Richard Rogers & Partners, providing structural and services engineering for the project.
Elsewhere, we look at an experimental concrete house, and Patscenter, a new research facility for PA Technology on the outskirts of Princeton.
