Mike Brown and Chris Barber explore the University of Qatar Phase 1a. In January 1975 Arup was engaged by the State of Qatar to assist in the development of the campus masterplan and the first stage of the development. Arup acted as the architect's prime consultant to undertake structural and engineering services design and site supervision.
In this issue we also look at work creating a new headquarters for Britoil, where we provided structural and civils expertise, and explore the design of Sheriff Court, also in Glasgow, with Arup providing structural engineering input for this expansion of court facilities.
