Peter Rice discusses Arup’s work with Renzo Piano Building Workshop on the Menil Collection Museum roof in Houston Texas.
He outlines the use of ferrocement elements and the role of ductile iron - a cast iron with a high resistance to cracking. Taking these two materials, we worked with the architect to develop the design and ultimately deliver this stunning new roof.
