Paula is Executive Director at Arup, leading the integration of our Europe and UKIMEA regions. Paula is leading collaboration across 45 offices to deliver real impact for clients and communities through Arup’s full range of property, transport, energy, water, science and technology, master planning, sustainability and strategic design and advisory services.

Paula is a chartered structural and civil engineer with more than 35 years of experience working with local, national, and international clients and partners on major developments. Some of the landmark developments she has worked on in her career include Commerzbank HQ Frankfurt, Potsdamer Platz C1 in Berlin, 261 Boulevard Raspail in Paris, several major projects in London including the More London Development, Ebury Bridge Estate Regeneration, Euston Station, multiple Elizabeth Line stations and the Al Bahr towers, Abu Dhabi.

Before moving to lead integration of our Europe and UKIMEA regions, Paula was the Managing Director for Arup’s UK, India, Middle East and Africa business.

Paula is passionate about redefining expectations of quality living and working environments, partnering with clients and collaborators to deliver high impact outcomes that push the boundaries on innovation, social value, sustainability, mobility and inclusivity.
