Philip Wright is a Director in Arup’s Acoustics, Audio-Visual, Theatre and Experiential Environments team. He specialises in the design of world-class performance and cultural venues, helping clients create exceptional experiences for performers and audiences through acoustic and experiential design.

With expertise spanning concert halls, opera houses and theatres, Philip has led acoustic design for the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, the Konzerthaus Munich for the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Hanoi Opera House.

Combining a background in engineering, psychoacoustics and acoustic research with a deep understanding of music and performance, Philip works with clients and design teams to create spaces that support artistic expression and deliver outstanding acoustic quality.
