Co-organised by the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), the award aims to honour building-related projects and organisations with outstanding performance and contributions in sustainability and to encourage adoption of sustainable planning, design, construction, management, operation, maintenance, renovation and decommissioning of buildings.
Arup’s contribution on the sustainability design for green projects and the sustainable built environment has also earned four Grand and five Merit Awards.

One Taikoo Place
This sustainable landmark is the first AI-enabled smart building in Hong Kong, comprising 41 floors of triple Grade-A office space with 1m ft² of total GFA. Arup provided multidisciplinary engineering services including building envelope design, fire engineering, structural engineering, digital and sustainable buildings design services.

Victoria Dockside
Reckoned as the most fascinating project in the Kowloon Peninsula that reshapes the Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront, Victoria Dockside was created by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) in collaboration with over 100 designers and consultants across the globe. We adopted integrated sustainable design ranging from passive to active design, from renewable energy to energy efficient technologies for the entire development. The project also received a Special Citation.

Grade A Office & Retail Development at NKIL 6556
The building comprises a 200m tall tower with grade-A office, a retail podium, basement car park, and a public transport terminus. An underground shopping street system is also planned to improve connectivity to surrounding developments. Arup took the lead in the sustainable design and planning of transport facilities that aimed at minimising resource consumption and improving the well-being of development users.

The Mills
The Mills is a landmark revitalisation project, envisioned to be the destination of business incubator, experiential retail, and a non-profit cultural institution. Arup provided LEED consultancy and transportation planning services including submissions of hoarding plan, traffic impact assessment, review of traffic design and application of excavation permit, to strengthen connectivity and revitalise this old building into a creative landmark for cultural industries in Hong Kong.
