Goman is an Arup Fellow at Arup.  He joined the firm in 1992 after completing his PhD at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has extensive experience in multidisciplinary, mega-scale tall building projects especially in East Asia.  These includes Cheung Kong Centre in Hong Kong, Beijing National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest), Beijing National Aquatics Centre (the Water Cube), CCTV Headquarters and Beijing International Airport Terminal 3.

Goman also held adjunct professorships at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Hong Kong.  With his strong passion in academia and research, he has published over 40 technical papers and three books in high-rise building design. He is a Chartered Engineer in the UK, Registered Professional Engineer in Hong Kong and First Class Registered Structural Engineer in the People’s Republic of China.
