A section of approximately 72km on the A7 motorway between Salzgitter and Göttingen was to be widened to include six lanes with a hard shoulder. The project was going to be implemented by a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the form of an availability model.
During the quotation phase, we were appointed to carry out the technical due diligence for the bidders’ consortium and the banks involved. Our task as an independent third party consisted in inspecting the technical status of the motorway section concerned and scrutinising the implementation strategy and plan drawn up by the bidder.
