Anadolu Medical Centre is a unique health complex located away from the noise and the stir of the city of Istanbul, where patients can be treated in a relaxed setting.
The centre provides all essential health services. From hospital services to a healthy life and rehabilitation centre, a nursing home and a hospice, a college of nursing and a research laboratory, all these services and more are united in one building.
Arup provided structural design services and seismic analyses for this 40,000m2 medical centre. The building is located on a 186,000m² construction area, has over 200 patient rooms, 8 operation rooms and intensive care units with 60 bed capacity.
Every year the centre will treat some 140,000 outpatients in the polyclinic patients and 12,000 inpatients.
The Anadolu Medical Centre is a project in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Hospital of the USA.
