Fast track multidisciplinary engineering design for Gillette

Gillette Blades and Razors factory is a 75,000m² facility area designed for Gillette in Łódź.

The facility consists of three buildings: a manufacturing hall, a packing hall and a warehouse.

Arup provided the structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical and public health engineering, as well as the civil and acoustic engineering and also carried out an environment impact assessment, flood risk analysis and site supervision.

Arup's experience and knowledge helped in reducing the design time to a minimum which had a significant impact on the project schedule. Thanks to this, the design was completed within five months.
